Pisa - Bus #1 - 04.03.06

We leave our bags at the airport and get a bus downtown. We're American tourists, and so of course we have a list; the Field of Miracles and the Leaning Tower are on that list. We view Pisa through the bus windows during the ride. It's our first look at Italy, and so it's fascinating, though Pisa is fairly nondescript. Pisan youths seem to be very into graffiti. What interests me most are the winding, narrow streets, down which our bus plunges fearlessly. Heaven help the first double-parked car or careless pedestrian.

When everyone else gets up and gets off, we miss the hint. The Duomo recedes in the rear window of the bus. We play it cool and get off at the next stop.
