Osteria Santo Spirito - 09.03.06

We like this place immediately. It's on a pretty tree-lined piazza south of the Arno, it's cozy inside, and it's not another museum. We sit upstairs, share a bottle of wine, and ponder the courses. The pasta dishes turn out to be bigger than the waiter suggested, and so by the time our entrees come we are nearly gorged. But it's good, and so I find room for dessert as well.

I am also hoping for a gelato stop on the way back to the hotel.
