Ristorante Don Chisciotte - 08.03.06

Our friends Dan and Jordan arrive from Berlin. As usual they are jet-setting around Europe and have deigned to stop in Florence to hang out with us before their weekend in Venice. We are dining in swanky swankitude in the nicest Florentine restaurant we've yet been to. Don Chisciotte specializes in seafood, so I quickly learn to say "I am allergic to shellfish" in Italian. With that small issue worked out, we can enjoy a lovely meal.

Our waiter looks like Balki from Perfect Strangers. Dan remembers the theme song. No one is surprised.
